The animated film The Good Wolf (directed by Natalia Darvina, Belarusfilm) has been included into the competition program of the International Animation Festival in Hiroshima, Japan. The event will be held on 20-24 August, BelTA learned from the Belarusfilm studio.
The film is based on the fairy tale by Belarusian writer Yelena Maslo. The film tells a story of a hungry wolf. He has a gentle heart and eats only herbs, honey and drinks tea. But one winter was very tough. The wolf was so hungry that he decided to steal a lamb for the first time in his life,” the film studio said.
More than 2,000 applications from all over the world have been were submitted for the 2020 Hiroshima festival. The jury selected only 59 works for the main competition program.
