Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko is on a working trip to Soligorsk District on 26 June, BelTA has learned.
In Soligorsk the head of state will meet with representatives of Minsk Oblast and will tour the Belkali-Migao company.
The president will be briefed on the social and economic situation in Minsk Oblast and Soligorsk District, financial and economic performance of Belaruskali and the implementation of the investment project to build a potassium nitrate production plant there.
A decision to start producing potassium nitrate in Belarus was made three years ago. In May 2017 a cooperation agreement was signed by China's Migao Corporation and Belaruskali. A joint venture – Belkali-Migao – was set up to implement the project. Br238 million was invested in the new facility.
