The open nationwide ballroom dancing tournament Gomel Open and the Gomel Oblast Open Ballroom Dancing Championships will take place in Gomel on 14-15 November, BelTA learned from the sport and tourism department of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee.
The events will be hosted in the sport center Lokomotiv. The tournament will gather the best ballroom dancers of Belarus. They will represent about 30 organizations and clubs.
Participants will compete in 55 age and classification groups in the European and Latin American programs.
The official opening ceremony is scheduled for 14 November.
The events are organized by the sport and tourism department of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee and the Gomel Oblast Ballroom Dancing Federation. The tournament is held under the aegis of the Belarusian Dance Union.
