Belarus' Litvinovich wins FIG Trampoline World Cup in Baku

Tokyo Olympic champion Ivan Litvinovich triumphed at the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Trampoline World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan, BelTA has learned.

The 21-year old Belarusian finished with a leading score of 61.850. Another Belarusian, Andrei Builou, followed behind in second place with 60.800 points. Kazakhstan's Danil Mussabayev secured a third-place finish with a score of 58.890.

Ivan Litvinovich and Andrei Builou finished first in synchronized trampoline with 52.810 points. They were followed by the Russians (50.820) and the Portuguese (49.960).

In the women's individual program Belarus' Katsiaryna Yarshova placed 4th with 50.870 points, Vialeta Bardzilouskaya finished in the 7th position. Katsiaryna Yarshova and Viktoryia Kuidan narrowly missed the podium in the synchronized event.

Over 60 athletes from 14 countries took part in this season's first international trampoline competitions.
