In order to deepen the Belarusian-Russian cooperation it is necessary to further develop mutual trade and use the potential of the Union State programs, Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Alesya Abramenko said as she met with Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Dmitry Volvach, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry.
Alesya Abramenko outlined the key areas of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries in the current situation. “First of all, we need to increase the supplies of Belarusian goods to Russia. Promising niches for business are opening up with a number of foreign companies leaving our markets. Of course, it is necessary to fully use the potential of the Union State programs,” she stressed.
The parties agreed to make such meetings regular. The next meeting is scheduled for 8 April via videoconference.
